Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the street lighting tax and its effect on the gas and water electricity sector in Tanjung Jabung Barat District. In addition, the authors identified the development and tax contribution of street lighting. Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency, the level of effectiveness of street lighting tax in tanjung jabung barat district and the influence of street lighting tax output on the electricity, gas and water sector in the West Tanjung Jabung Regency. This study used secondary data from the period 2006 to 2013. The data analysis method used in the study this is a descriptive quantitative method with regression analysis in interpolation data. Abstract

This study aims to: 1) To analyze the social and economic characteristics of child labor in the traditional markets of Pasar Angso Duo and Pasar Baru Kota Jambi. 2) To analyze how much the contribution of child labor income to family income. And 3) To analyze what factors influence children working in the traditional markets of Pasar Angso Duo and Pasar Baru Kota Jambi. Based on social and economic characteristics, it can be said that the average age of child labor ranges from 7-10 years, the number of child workers who have not completed school is very large, 19 people or 76 percent. There are very large numbers of family heads of children who have not completed high school, namely 18 people or 72 percent. Furthermore, the average working hours of child laborers in the Angso Duo and Pasar Baru markets range from 7.5 to 8.5 hours.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the social economic conditions of street vendors around the Gentala Arasy bridge. The sample of this research was 44 respondents's experiments. The variables in this study are age, education level, working hours, and capital. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, documentation, and interviews. Data analysis used is the coefficient of determination test and hypothesis test simultaneously. The results obtained from this study include socio-economic street vendors age, education level, and capital proven to increase, only the working hours variable is not increased. The results of the analysis of the coefficient of determination in this study are all statement items have a valid or significant status because the value of t count > t table with the value of R2 Square (0.348) and the results of the hypothesis test show items that correspond to high reliability with a value (0.270a < 0.05)
